This low-pay (or no pay) position will help you solidify your connections within the business, and help others to see that you are a prime candidate for an entry-level job.

To make your internship work for you, though, you need to remember some interning basics that will demonstrate what a knowledgeable and hard worker you are:

• Offer to take on some of the work of your coworkers.
