How to Survive Your Worst Small Business Week Ever
Sometimes you think your business is going to be okay, then other days things don’t look so good, right? Then comes that dreaded week. The week when sales are unexpectedly low and everything starts to come apart at the seams. You need backup money and you need it quick or else this is going to be the end of your business. Don’t worry. Every small business owner has weeks like that, and now the SBA has come to the rescue.
The SBA, or Small Business Association, has recently announced an emergency funding program they are calling a “bridge-lending” program that is aimed at helping small businesses survive during the current American recession. The loans they are offering are for up to $35,000—just enough to help a small business update its computer system, pay off some back debts, or hire some new workers. The SBA is very concerned about the problems of small businesses today and is determined to help them survive these tough times, and, many small business owners will agree, this emergency funding comes just in time.
