Hawaii’s Business Executive Society of Tomorrow Sets the Standard for Networking

Shidler College of Business, in Hawaii, has gone above and beyond what is required by establishing an incredible institution that helps business school students and graduates to network for jobs, tips, and relationship-building. It is called the Business Executive Society of Tomorrow, or BEST. This society exists to improve business education by adding in the opportunity to network with professionals. Through BEST, students at the University of Hawaii at Manoa can enjoy workshops meant for building careers, opportunities for internships, and some of the best business connection opportunities in the Hawaiian islands.

BEST is spearheaded by a student-run executive board that not only provides business networking opportunities, it organizes socials and quality cultural events. The BEST program and the team that runs it is an excellent example of a business school blending with a community organization to help students begin to make a name for themselves out in the world of business. It is this transition from school to work that can be so difficult sometimese, but BEST works hard to make it a smooth transition.
