business management strategies 258x300 Great Business Management Strategies Usually Involve Employee FeedbackEmployee feedback is so important to a business manager. Many managers assume they know what is going on in an office, but frequently their work is so separate from that of the employees “in the trenches” that they miss out on a lot of opportunities to improve the corporate culture, the employee morale, and the various physical and time constraints that can block progress and profit.

To get useful, accurate employee feedback, it is a good idea to:

  • Solicit input on existing policies as well as areas where a policy is needed. If new policies come into play, don’t simply post them, ask for input and comments and suggestions regarding the problem the policy is meant to solve.
  • When policies have not been enforced in the past, you must meet with employees and let them know that you will be enforcing them and why. Do not simply begin to enforce them out of the blue.

When you present policies in a well-organized way, offering explanations for the reasons

And asking for suggests to help solve problems, employees will happily uphold those policies and you will create a cooperative corporate culture.
