Dartmouth is one of many progressive colleges and universities that offer a minority business executive program. This program is designed to help minority graduates succeed in a variety of fields and to track their success as well. Statistics from such programs have helped Dartmouth to track its own progress in terms of advocating for minorities.

For instance, 2005 results showed:

• All participants had improved their entrepreneurial businesses or had been promoted into high level positions within six months.
• 93% of participants were actively involved in working with new contracts.
• 79% had actually created new jobs in their communities.
